Job Description

A reputable healthcare system that borders beautiful Lake Ontario is searching for a Licensed Practical Nurse for its Skilled Nursing Facility. In this role, you will provide direct and indirect nursing care to residents under the direction and supervision of a Registered Nurse. You will engage in caring relationships with patients and families, work collaboratively with other healthcare staff, and use sound judgment while performing nursing and medical interventions.

Responsibilities:

• Provide compassionate care to residents within the facility.
• Administer medications to patients as directed.
• Observe, evaluate, and document changes in residents’ physical and mental status.
• Complete all required documentation and maintain records.
• Educate residents and families as directed by the RN.

Qualifications:

• Graduate from an accredited practical nursing program.
• Active LPN License.
• 6+ months of LPN experience is preferred.

Additional info:

• Full-time, permanent position
• Schedule: 5x8, 6a-2p or 2p-10p
• Pay: $24.75-29.50/hr., depending on experience, + differentials.
• $7,000 sign-on bonus!
