Job Description

A critical access hospital in Northwestern New Hampshire is searching for a Registered Nurse for its Medical/Surgical Unit. In this role, you will assess, plan, implement, and evaluate nursing care for patients within the department. You will engage in caring relationships with patients and families, work collaboratively with other healthcare staff, and use sound judgment while performing nursing and medical interventions. This is an exciting opportunity for a new grad or experienced RN to join a compassionate team that promotes an inclusive work culture.

Responsibilities:

• Provide direct patient care.
• Gather and interpret data through history taking and physical assessments.
• Review the preoperative checklist and ensure all requirements are met.
• Educate patients and families about the care plan and how to manage their care after discharge.
• Administer medications to patients as directed.
• Update and maintain patient records in the EMR.

Qualifications:

• Graduate from an accredited nursing program.
• Active RN License.

Additional info:

• Full-time, permanent position
• 3x12, 7a-7p or 7p-7a
• Pay: $33.25-51/hr. base, depending on experience, + differentials
