A renowned critical access hospital in Northwestern New Hampshire seeks a Nursing Director to oversee its inpatient Psych Unit. In this role, you will lead the departmental activities, ensuring high-quality patient care and effectively managing daily operations. You will coach staff, drive performance improvement, ensure compliance, and manage fiscal planning.

Responsibilities:

• Assume 24-hour responsibility for the 10-bed psychiatric short-stay unit.
• Supervise, train, and coach department personnel.
• Conduct performance improvement reviews and identify professional growth opportunities.
• Identify opportunities for improvement in patient satisfaction, staff development, and fiscal management.
• Develop budgets that demonstrate industry benchmark standards in performance and productivity.

Qualifications:

• Graduate from an accredited nursing program.
• A master’s degree in Psych or Nursing is highly preferred.
• Active RN license.
• 2+ years of management experience is required.

Additional info:

• Full-time, permanent position
• Monday-Friday, days
• $80,000-130,000, depending on experience
