A highly reputable community hospital in Southern New Hampshire is seeking a skilled Registered Nurse (RN) to join its surgical team. This hospital provides a diverse range of surgical specialties, including General Surgery, Orthopedics, Endoscopy, Gynecology, Obstetrics, Pain Management, and Ophthalmology.

Position Overview

The Operating Room RN will be responsible for coordinating and delivering exceptional perioperative nursing care. This role ensures that all aspects of patient care within the surgical suite are safe, efficient, and compassionate, while addressing the cultural, spiritual, and individual needs of patients and their families.

Key Responsibilities

• Circulate and scrub during a wide range of surgical procedures.
• Collaborate closely with surgeons, anesthesiologists, and surgical technicians to ensure safe, efficient, and high-quality patient care.
• Prepare and maintain the operating room, surgical instruments, and equipment before, during, and after procedures.
• Anticipate the needs of the surgical team, providing instruments and supplies as required.
• Monitor patient status and vital signs, ensuring safety and comfort before, during, and after surgery.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited School of Nursing.
• Active Registered Nurse License
• Minimum 6 months of OR experience required.

Position details

• Full-time, permanent position
• Monday-Friday, 645am-330pm
