Job Description

A renowned Magnet-designated hospital in White Plains, NY is searching for a Registered Nurse for its Labor & Delivery Unit. In this role, you will provide direct patient care, assess the patient’s needs, develop care plans, implement & evaluate nursing regimens, and collaborate with physicians, peers, and various healthcare team members. Responsibilities:

• Utilize the nursing process to meet the age-specific needs of the patient in all aspects of care.
• Use appropriate steps in the decision-making process related to patient care and unit-based issues.
• Integrate patient rights and nursing ethics into work practice.
• Participate in performance improvement initiatives.
• Sustain and advance the Magnet model.

Qualifications:

• A BSN is required.
• Active RN License.
• 1+ years of RN experience.

Additional info:

• Full-time, permanent position.
• Schedule; 3x12
• Two shifts available; 7a-7p and 7p-7a
• Compensation: $50-$66.50/hr., depending on experience + shift differentials.
