Job Description

A renowned Magnet-recognized hospital in White Plains, NY, is searching for a Registered Nurse for its Observation Unit. In this role, you will assess, plan, implement, and evaluate nursing care for patients within the department. You will engage in caring relationships with patients and families, work collaboratively with other healthcare staff, and use sound judgment while performing nursing and medical interventions. Responsibilities:

• Provide direct care to a diverse patient population.
• Gather and interpret data through history taking and physical assessments and plan interventions to meet patients’ needs.
• Document care provided and the patient’s progress toward desired outcomes.
• Educate patients and families about the plan of care and how to manage their care after discharge.
• Administer medication to patients as directed.

Qualifications:

• BSN Required
• Active RN license.
• 1+ years of nursing experience.

Additional info:

• Full-time, permanent position
• Hours; 7p-7a, Nights
• Pay: $111,800-$146,800, depending on experience
