A renowned Magnet hospital in New Hampshire is searching for a Registered Nurse for its Step-Down Respiratory Care Unit. In this role, you will assess, plan, implement, and evaluate nursing care for patients within the department. You will engage in caring relationships with diverse patients and families, work collaboratively with other healthcare staff, and use sound judgment while performing nursing and medical interventions. Responsibilities:

• Provide direct patient care to a complex yet diverse patient population, including vent patients.
• Gather and interpret data through history taking and physical assessments and plan interventions to meet patients’ needs.
• Document care provided and the patient’s progress toward desired outcomes.
• Educate patients and families about the plan of care and how to manage their care after discharge.
• Administer medication to patients as directed.
• Sustain and advance the Magnet model.

Qualifications:

• An ADN is required, and a BSN is preferred.
• Active RN License.
• 1+ years of acute care experience is required.

Additional info:

• Full-time, permanent position
• Schedule: 3x12, days and nights
• Pay: $32-53/hr., depending on experience, + differentials.
• +$10,000 Sign-On Bonus!
