Job Description

A highly reputable healthcare system in New Hampshire is searching for a Registered Nurse for its Cardiac Intermediate Care Unit. In this role, you will care for patients requiring advanced cardiac monitoring and specialized nursing interventions, bridging the gap between intensive care and general cardiology units. You will work alongside a multidisciplinary team dedicated to delivering high-quality, evidence-based cardiac care.

Responsibilities

  • Provide comprehensive nursing care to patients with acute and chronic cardiac conditions, including arrhythmias, heart failure, post-cardiac procedures, and post-interventional cardiology.
  • Monitor hemodynamics, telemetry, and cardiac rhythms; identify, document, and escalate changes in patient status.
  • Administer cardiac medications, titrations, and treatments per physician orders.
  • Collaborate with cardiologists, APPs, respiratory therapists, and other healthcare professionals to execute patient-centered care plans.
  • Educate patients and families on cardiac conditions, medications, lifestyle changes, and discharge plans.
  • Maintain accurate and timely documentation in accordance with hospital policy and regulatory guidelines.

Qualifications

  • A BSN is required.
  • Active RN License.
  • At least 3 years of inpatient experience is required.

Position details

  • Full-time, permanent position
  • 3x12, nights
