A well-respected healthcare system in New Hampshire is seeking an experienced Intensive Care Unit Registered Nurse to join the critical care team at one of its hospitals located on Lake Winnipesaukee. This is an excellent opportunity for an ICU nurse who is passionate about delivering high-acuity care in a collaborative, mission-driven environment.

Position Summary

As an ICU Registered Nurse, you will provide comprehensive, patient-centered care to critically ill patients with complex and rapidly changing conditions. You will work alongside physicians, respiratory therapists, and a skilled interdisciplinary team to ensure high-quality outcomes and safe, evidence-based care.

Key Responsibilities

• Perform ongoing assessments and continuous monitoring of critically ill patients
• Interpret and respond to changes in vital signs, hemodynamics, and clinical status
• Manage ventilators, drips, central lines, and other advanced ICU equipment and therapies
• Administer medications safely, including titratable and high-alert medications
• Collaborate closely with physicians and the care team to implement and adjust care plans
• Provide emotional support and education to patients and families during high-stress situations
• Maintain accurate and timely documentation of all assessments, interventions, and outcomes

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited nursing program
• Active RN license
• Minimum 1 year of ICU or critical care experience required
