Job Description

We are seeking an experienced Residential Construction Foreman to oversee and coordinate the activities of our client's construction crews in Fargo, ND. The ideal candidate will possess strong leadership skills and a comprehensive understanding of residential construction processes. This role involves managing projects from start to finish, ensuring that work is completed on time, within budget, and to the highest quality standards.

What you'll be doing:
- Supervise and coordinate the activities of construction workers and subcontractors.
- Read and interpret blueprints, specifications, and construction documents.
- Plan and schedule project timelines and milestones using appropriate tools.
- Ensure compliance with safety regulations and building codes.
- Monitor work progress and quality to ensure that construction standards are met.
- Order and manage materials and equipment as needed.
- Communicate effectively with project managers, clients, and other stakeholders.
- Resolve any issues or conflicts that arise during the construction process.
- Train and mentor construction staff as required.
- Maintain daily logs and reports on project progress.
- Conduct regular site inspections and manage punch lists.

Who we are looking for:
- High school diploma or equivalent; relevant certifications or degrees in construction management are a plus.
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in residential construction, with at least 2 years in a supervisory role.
- Strong leadership and team management skills.
- Proficiency in reading blueprints and construction documents.
- Knowledge of local building codes and safety regulations.
- Excellent problem-solving and decision-making abilities.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines.
- Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation.

Physical Requirements:
- Ability to lift and carry heavy materials (up to 50 lbs).
- Comfortable working in various weather conditions.
- Ability to stand, walk, and bend for extended periods.
