Job Description
We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Construction Laborer to join our client's team in Fargo, ND. As a Construction Laborer, you will play a crucial role in supporting our construction projects by performing a variety of tasks to ensure project completion in a timely and efficient manner.What you'll be doing:
- Assist in the preparation of construction sites by clearing debris, materials, and equipment.
- Load and unload construction materials and move them to work areas.
- Operate hand and power tools, as well as other equipment, under the supervision of skilled workers.
- Assist in the installation of structures and fixtures, such as windows, doors, and cabinets.
- Mix, pour, and spread concrete, asphalt, gravel, and other materials.
- Erect and dismantle scaffolding, shoring, braces, and other temporary structures.
- Measure, mark, and cut materials to specified dimensions.
- Follow blueprints, instructions, and other technical drawings to complete assigned tasks.
- Ensure all safety procedures and regulations are followed to maintain a safe work environment.
- Assist with site clean-up and organization at the end of each day.
- Perform other duties as assigned by supervisors and project managers.
Who we are looking for:
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Proven experience as a construction laborer or in a similar role.
- Knowledge of construction procedures, equipment, and safety guidelines.
- Ability to operate hand and power tools effectively.
- Physical stamina and strength to perform manual labor and lift heavy objects.
- Ability to work in various weather conditions.
- Good communication and teamwork skills.
- Reliable and punctual with a strong work ethic.
