Job Description:

We are looking for a Contract AV Support Technician to provide technical support and expertise in audio-visual systems and equipment. The ideal candidate will have experience in managing and supporting AV systems, including PowerPoint, VTC equipment, Crestron hardware, and Cisco cameras. The position will be based in Morristown, NJ.

Responsibilities:

• Provide technical support for audio-visual systems and equipment.
• Install, configure, and maintain AV systems.
• Troubleshoot and resolve AV equipment issues.
• Provide support for events and conferences.
• Monitor and maintain AV equipment inventory.
• Develop and maintain documentation for AV systems.
• Collaborate with other teams and departments to ensure seamless AV operations.
• Stay up-to-date with the latest AV technology.

Requirements:

• High School Diploma and 5 years of relevant experience
• Hands-on experience with Crestron hardware, Cisco cameras and codecs, and Biamp DSPs would be great.
• Knowledge of what a LAN is and how to troubleshoot network related issues
• Excellent problem-solving and troubleshooting skills.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Ability to manage multiple tasks and projects simultaneously.
• Strong organizational skills.
• Availability to work flexible hours, including evenings and weekends.
