Job Title: Canadian Immigration Admin Assistant (Contract)

Job Summary:
Our client is seeking a Canadian Immigration Admin Assistant to support the team of immigration lawyers in processing immigration applications. This is a remote, contract position. The ideal candidate will have strong administrative skills, experience working with Excel, and excellent attention to detail.
Responsibilities:
- Assist with the preparation and filing of immigration applications, including work permits, permanent residency applications, and citizenship applications
- Communicate with clients and government agencies regarding the status of applications
- Maintain accurate records of client files and update case management systems
- Prepare reports and gather information for immigration lawyers
- Conduct research on immigration laws, policies, and procedures
- Assist with scheduling appointments and managing calendars
- Provide general administrative support to the immigration team
Requirements:
- Minimum of 2 years of experience in an administrative role, preferably in immigration law
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal
- Strong attention to detail and ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office, specifically Excel
- Familiarity with immigration laws and regulations in Canada
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Strong organizational and time management skills
Education:
- High school diploma or equivalent required
- Post-secondary education in a related field is an asset
