Job Title: Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC)
Overview: We are seeking a Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC) to join our team of mental health professionals. The LPC will be responsible for providing counseling services to individuals, couples, families, and groups. The successful candidate must be licensed and experienced in providing clinical counseling services.
Responsibilities:
- Conduct mental health assessments and develop individualized treatment plans for clients
- Provide counseling and therapy services to clients in individual, group, or family settings
- Help clients identify and manage emotional and behavioral issues and develop coping strategies
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date client records and progress notes
- Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to ensure continuity of care
- Participate in ongoing training and professional development opportunities
- Adhere to ethical and legal guidelines and maintain confidentiality of client information
Qualifications:
- Master's degree in counseling or related field
- Active and valid LPC license
- Experience in providing counseling services to individuals, couples, families, and groups
- Knowledge of evidence-based therapeutic interventions
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
- Proficient in computer skills and electronic medical records
