Job Description

As a Director of Information Technology you will have to spearhead our the international team across the US and Mexico. This pivotal role demands an adept professional with a demonstrated history of delivering exceptional performance across varied IT services and platforms. As an accomplished leader, you will direct efforts in user lifecycle management, technical support, and security administration, while providing strategic direction and innovative leadership in our fast-paced industry. Additionally, you will showcase your proficiency in cloud services and adeptly handle the intricacies of vendor management.

Responsibilities:

  • Lead the IT Support and Network Infrastructure functions, ensuring swift problem resolution, metric tracking, and reporting.
  • Develop, track, and analyze key performance indicators to guarantee the deployment of reliable technologies across the organization.
  • Uphold governance, risk, and compliance standards by overseeing assessments, audits, and system certifications.
  • Establish and implement policies and procedures that adhere to third-party compliance and security standards, such as SOC II.
  • Direct the IT Operations and Support team to optimize operations, encompassing support desk activities, patch management, and corporate IT projects.
  • Manage service level agreements, including metrics, budgeting, scheduling, and performance standards.
  • Guide and support the deployment and management of cloud-based systems and network infrastructure.
  • Lead cross-functional teams in the US and Mexico to ensure the successful delivery of projects and services.

Qualifications:

  • Minimum 8 years of experience in designing and building enterprise and cloud-native architectures, including integration and orchestration of platforms and pipelines.
  • At least 8 years in managing an IT operational department, including daily operations, support desk, and IT project management.
  • Proven experience in implementing frameworks like ITIL, with a focus on process improvement and service excellence to enhance internal customer satisfaction and organizational growth.
  • Extensive knowledge and expertise in network security, infrastructure architecture, operating systems, and project management.
  • Demonstrated ability to lead and manage international teams and coordinate with vendors.
  • Strong leadership, vendor management, and project management capabilities.
  • Hands-on experience in IT governance and compliance, including policy development, process design, system implementation, and managing third-party audits (e.g., SOC 2).
  • Excellent communication skills and experience in executive collaboration.
  • Willingness for occasional travel within the US and Mexico.
