Job Description

Senior Associate - Business Development

Our client is a GPO full-service buying group. They have an immediate need for a business developmet team member who will work with developing VENDOR partnerships.

Duties and Responsibilities

  • Maintains vendor program data and other promotional information on member portal
  • Performs various vendor contract negotiation workstreams
  • Analyzes vendor program pricing and does comparisons across product categories
  • Supports product categorization data analytics with the technology team
  • Maintains customer & vendor contract data in SQL utilizing AI technology
  • Performs SKU level pricing analysis and product rationalization exercises
  • Manages vendor file records, ensuring all program documentation is complete and accurate
  • Monitors program timelines, task completion, and file status across internal systems
  • Other duties as assigned

Required Experience:

  • 3+ years of professional experience
  • Bachelor’s degree in business administration or similar or related field
  • Strong working knowledge of Microsoft Office products (Excel, Powerpoint, Word)
  • Strong analytical, organizational, communication, and critical thinking skills
  • High attention to detail and accuracy in data management
  • Ability to work cross-functionally across different company departments
  • Ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines
  • Ability to meet and deliver a quality work product
  • Strong interpersonal skills and a service-minded approach

Preferred Experience

  • Prior experience working in a Group Purchasing Organization
  • Food & Beverage industry experience
  • Exposure to the foodservice equipment and supplies industry is a plus

Job Location

This position will be based in Denver, Colorado

  • Base Comp: $70,000 - $80,000
