Field Project Manager – Texas/Remote - Commercial Food Service Projects

We have an Outstanding opportunity for a Field Project Manager at a Top-Tier Dealer of Commercial Food Service Equipment, Supplies, and Design. The Project Manager will collaborate with a team to design, plan, contract, and construct new and remodel food service projects. Projects range from independent restaurants and national chains to healthcare facilities, hospitality establishments, country clubs, schools and universities, government institutions, and commercial kitchen equipment or food service projects. The Field Project Manager will be Responsible for managing the installation of equipment for assigned projects within the timeline and budget while providing excellent customer service to our customers and vendors. Also responsible for maintaining positive business relationships with both internal and external customers and vendors. This position is remote and requires a location in Texas, offering an excellent Base Salary and Full Benefits.


KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, AND ABILITIES Required:

  • Skills in motivation and mediation to ensure the team’s success, ability to identify, assess, and control risks.
  • objectively possess critical thinking to analyze and evaluate unforeseen situations.
  • Ability to negotiate to resolve disputes.
  • Cost management skills relate to cost constraints and budgets.
  • An understanding of the Project Management Triangle: Cost, Time, and Scope.
  • Understanding of creation and control of project schedules and task list while communicating and guiding project objectives.
  • An ability to read and understand construction documents, including plans, 11400 Specifications, R.F.I.s, etc., is required.
  • Candidates should have a valid driver’s license, a company vehicle can be provided, or a car allowance is negotiable.
  • Candidates should also be open to travel within the United States and its territories.

Preferred:

  • Roll up your sleeves and get it done attitude. Experience in food service, construction, and/or hospitality is desired.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES:

  • Preliminary site walks to obtain field dimensions, verify utilities, and confirm site readiness.
  • Understanding and reading drawings and related software: Bluebeam, Procore, AutoQuotes, and MS Office suite.
  • Overseeing and adhering to approved and published job site timelines.
  • Review and manage project documents and project budget from start to finish.
  • Schedule and coordinate deliveries and installations according to the schedule.
  • Oversee the delivery and installation process to ensure completion per schedule and specifications.
  • Communicate and coordinate with internal office personnel, the installation department, general contractors, subcontractors, and customers as needed to complete projects according to schedule and budget.
