Job Summary:

We seek a dedicated Nurse Manager for our Surgical Trauma Intensive Care Unit (STICU). In this role, you will create a positive team environment, ensuring that high-quality nursing practices, teamwork, and patient safety are at the forefront of our operations. You will formulate plans, implement policies, manage resources, oversee finances, and lead quality improvement initiatives. You will also arrange educational programs and provide direct patient care when necessary.

What You’ll Do:

- Develop and communicate a clear vision for nursing practices in your area. 

- Engage supervisory and staff members in setting and achieving departmental goals. 

- Stay current with the latest clinical and leadership practices through continual learning. 

- Promote a healing and supportive atmosphere for patients, families, and staff. 

- Identify staff development needs and facilitate relevant educational opportunities. 

- Model professionalism within the nursing field and establish a positive work environment. 

- Align staff and patient care strategies with the organization's mission and goals. 

Qualifications:

- Bachelor’s degree in nursing. 

- A minimum of three years of professional nursing experience is required. 

- Current RN licensure. 

- Basic Life Support (BLS) certification is required within the first 30 days of employment.
