About Your Clinical Nurse Specialist Role 

As the Clinical Nurse Specialist in our Emergency Department, you will be at the forefront of patient care excellence. You will:

- Demonstrate advanced nursing competencies and influence care delivery.

- Lead initiatives that align with national guidelines and best practices.

- Collaborate across interdisciplinary teams to enhance patient outcomes.

- Educate and empower nursing staff through knowledge sharing and supportive leadership.

Required CNS Qualifications

- Master’s degree in nursing from an accredited institution.

- Active Oregon Registered Nurse License upon hire.

- Current BLS certification from the American Heart Association upon hire.

- At least 3 years of clinical experience in an Emergency Department setting.

Preferred Qualifications for CNS

- Experience teaching adult learners.

- Prior experience as a Clinical Nurse Specialist.
