SERVICE MANAGER – San Diego, CA

Service Manager Key Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Lead the service department, ensuring exceptional service delivery that exceeds customer expectations.
  • Foster a team environment that encourages personal and professional growth, emphasizing our family-oriented culture.
  • Lead a team of field service technicians- overseeing all scheduling, installations and repairs.
  • Train team on new industry standards
  • Train and lead the team to record first time fix rates
  • Manage warranties and claims.
  • Manage Service Inventory and Fleet.
  • Engage in strategic planning and implementation, processing complex information to develop clear, actionable plans.
  • Serve as a proven leader passionate about developing a customer-centric approach while navigating and influencing positive changes in the industry.

Service Manager Qualifications:

  • High School Diploma or equivalent and industry experience.
  • Engineering, technical, or business-related degree preferred.
  • Minimum of five years of experience in air compressor, HVAC or related industries.
  • CAGI certification is highly desirable.
  • Knowledge of the industrial air compressor business.
  • Experience in controls and PLCs.
  • Demonstrated leadership ability, capable of driving, leading, and inspiring teams in a dynamic environment.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to effectively communicate across all levels of the organization.
  • Deep passion for the compressed air industry and a commitment to continuous learning and development.
  • Proven problem-solving skills and the ability to manage complex situations.
  • Previous P&L experience
  • Process Improvement experience.
