We are seeking an Intraoperative Radiologic Technologist ARRT (R). In this exciting role, you will utilize your expertise as an imaging professional to provide surgical intraoperative radiologic guidance for advanced surgical procedures, including 3D imaging, amongst other diagnostic equipment and tools.  The position is Full-time, Day Shift, Monday through Friday.

Requirements for Intraoperative Radiologic Technologist ARRT (R)

  • Graduate of an accredited program
  • Certified ARRT R Radiography (ARRT-R)

Responsibilities of Intraoperative Radiologic Technologist ARRT (R)

  • Provide surgical intraoperative radiologic guidance for advanced surgical procedures, including 3D imaging. Advanced procedures include Deep Brain Stimulation (DBS), 3D imaging for facial/pelvic and spinal navigation, Ortho trauma: Pelvic fixation, IMN of long bones, ORIF, CRPP, External fixators, Total joints (Ankle, hips, shoulder, etc.), Spinal exams for scoliosis, odontoid screw, vertebroplasty, kyphoplasty, SI fusion, and Dorsal column stimulator procedures. Able to perform post-processing using 3D imaging, DSA road-mapping, cine and reconstruction of various exams such as cerebral and peripheral angiograms, thrombectomies, ECMO, Impella, Laser Lead removal of pacemaker managers, TAVR, Stroke, pacemaker/defibrillator placement and Hybrid vascular suites (Bi-plane and single plane), AAA, aortic grafts, Fistulagrams, IVC Filter placement/retrieval, placement of thrombolytic catheters, and needle guidance.
  • Perform intraoperative procedures using advanced imaging equipment such as portable diagnostic equipment, 3D systems, portable fluoroscopy, portable CT, and Hybrid IR/OR systems where appropriate according to exam protocol.
  • Obtain, verify, and maintain all relevant documentation
  • Work with a high level of autonomy without the need for routine oversight
  • Maintain current knowledge, education, and skills
  • Demonstrate the desire to serve as a preceptor for new team members, including new initiatives and services.
