Medical Supply Sales Representative Job Description:
As a Medical Supply Sales Representative, your main role is to sell medical supplies and equipment to skilled nursing, assisted living, group homes, or any other geriatric facility. healthcare facilities may also include hospitals, clinics. You will develop and maintain relationships with clients, understand their specific supply needs, and offer comprehensive solutions. This involves presenting product features, negotiating contracts, and ensuring timely delivery of supplies. In addition, you will stay informed about industry trends, competition, and market demands to adapt your sales strategies accordingly. Success in this position requires excellent communication skills, a strong understanding of medical products, and the ability to meet sales targets in the dynamic healthcare supply industry.
The background we are seeking can come from selling long-term care pharmacy, medical or pharmacy supplies or automation, therapy, or even be a LTC nurse with some sales experience.

Medical Supply Sales Rep - Responsibilities

Develop and maintain sales region-specific sales and marketing data and produce monthly funnel report

Maintains marketing/sales budget
-
Assist in the coordination of trade shows and attend trade shows.

Meet or exceed defined sales goals for the territory outlined

Become expert in all areas of company products provided to the facilities.

Generate reports, as directed and needed by your Supervisor

Develop annual sales and marketing plan

Build relationships with DON's, Administrators, owners, and others at the facilities

Set up meetings and close deals

Medical Supply Sales Rep - Requirements

Bachelors Degree
-
Ability to read, write and speak the English language.

3 to 5 years experience in sales, preferably in medical supply or related sales

Ability to follow through and keep up on your client relations and business
-
Must possess a current drivers license and possess a clean driving record

Ability to build and nurture relationships with customers

Strong communication and people skills
-
Results-oriented, strategic thinker, and planner

History of success as a sales rep.
