Job Description
Assists in the development and implementation of policies and procedures that guide and support the provision of radiological services. Participates in the review of radiological services, both current and for the future. Assesses and improves the quality of care and services. Utilize a variety of diagnostic and image-guided therapeutic techniques, including all aspects of radiological diagnosis, nuclear radiology, diagnostic ultrasound, magnetic resonance, computed tomography, breast imaging, interventional procedures and the use of any other imaging in the diagnosis and treatment of patients.
This will be tailored to the individual training and expertise of the radiologist working under the guidance of a registered cardiovascular invasive specialist as needed, conducts tests on pulmonary or cardiovascular systems of patients for diagnostic purposes.
May conduct or assist in electrocardiograms, cardiac catheterizations, pulmonary functions, lung capacity, and similar tests.

Associate degree in allied health field; or bachelors of science degree as health science and registry eligible as a Cardiovascular Invasive Specialist (RCIS) by Cardiovascular Credential International; or enrolled in an associate degree allied health program with graduation date within six months and registry eligible RCIS.
Three years of current allied health experience in an acute care setting or registry eligible RCIS.
American Heart Association or American Red Cross BLS certification as Healthcare Provider.
Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) within 6 months.
