System Administrator Key Responsibilities System Administrator activities may include, but are not limited to: Resolve escalated incidents and service requests across customer environments. Administer and support Microsoft 365, SharePoint, OneDrive, Teams, Azure, Entra ID, Intune, Autopilot, and Windows environments. Configure and support Microsoft Intune policies, device enrollment, compliance policies, and Autopilot deployments. Support identity and access management activities, including user provisioning, multi-factor authentication (MFA), Conditional Access, and security policies. Troubleshoot desktop, server, cloud, networking, and application issues across customer environments. Support endpoint management, device lifecycle management, patching, and ongoing system maintenance. Assist with customer onboarding projects, technology deployments, upgrades, and migrations. Document customer environments, technical procedures, standards, and knowledge base articles. Monitor customer environments and proactively identify issues requiring attention. Collaborate with Service Desk and Engineering teams to resolve complex technical issues. Participate in technology projects, customer onboarding, and implementation activities. Support cybersecurity initiatives, security best practices, and compliance requirements. Assist with backup, disaster recovery, and business continuity solutions. Maintain accurate ticket documentation, time entries, and customer communications. Identify opportunities to improve processes, documentation, automation, and overall customer outcomes. Manage and maintain required technology licenses and professional certifications, including renewals. Required Skills
- 35 years of experience in systems administration, IT support, or a related technical role
- Hands-on experience administering Microsoft 365 environments, including Teams, SharePoint, OneDrive, and Exchange Online
- Experience with Microsoft Azure and Entra ID, including user and group administration
- Experience supporting Windows desktop and endpoint environments
- Understanding of identity and access management, including MFA, Conditional Access, and user provisioning
- Strong technical troubleshooting and problem-solving skills across desktop, cloud, networking, and application issues
- Experience with endpoint management, patching, software deployment, and system maintenance
- Ability to troubleshoot and resolve escalated incidents and service requests
- Understanding of basic cybersecurity principles and security best practices
- Ability to accurately document tickets, technical procedures, configurations, and customer interactions
- Strong written and verbal communication and customer service skills
- Ability to work independently while collaborating with Service Desk and Engineering teams
- Ability to manage multiple priorities and work effectively in a customer-focused environment Preferred Skills

- Experience supporting customer environments in an MSP or managed services environment
- Experience supporting technology migrations, upgrades, and implementations
- Familiarity with backup, disaster recovery, and business continuity
- Experience with RMM and PSA/ticketing platforms
- Microsoft or other relevant IT certifications
