Job Description

As a Business Analyst you will be helping with all levels of support including team communications, report generating, system support, invoicing, and proactive patent record maintenance.
  • This is a 4-days/week on-site contract role in Redmond.

Responsibilities

  • Patent Billing & Invoicing: Conduct a monthly audit of reviewed invoices, monitor the Patent Billing Inbox for action items, perform weekly reviews in T360 to identify duplicate invoices or invoices assigned to incorrect reviewers.
  • Data Management & Record Maintenance: Perform monthly reviews of inactive Anaqua user accounts, set up new Anaqua user accounts for outside counsels, create IPRM records, initiate bulk modifications to existing patent records (updating classifications, tags, and contacts).
  • Reporting & Engineering Support: Distribute weekly engineering docket reports pulled from Anaqua, run one-off reports when requested.
  • Process Management: Maintain the Component Matrix Template to reflect organizational changes, collaborate with Anaqua Support to resolve system issues, document standard operating procedures, and contribute to process improvements.
  • Support Special Projects: audits, validation checks, and document retrieval

Qualifications Required Qualifications:

  • 2+ years Administrative, Business Support, Program/Project Management or customer service experience.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft 365 (Word, Excel, PowerPoint). Emphasis on advanced Excel skills (Tables, Filters, VLOOKUP/XLOOKUP, formulas, data cleanup.)
  • Copilot
  • Ability to manage recurring weekly/monthly cadences while handling ad‑hoc requests.
  • Strong organizational skills and ability to manage multiple tasks and deadlines independently
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills; attention to detail and customer service orientation
  • Ability to work with minimal supervision and maintain accuracy under deadlines

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience using Anaqua or a similar IP Management System.
  • Knowledge of T360 or similar billing software.

Compensation & Benefits:

  • $40-$42 per hour, 32 hours per week
