Job Description
With capacity of services within the client data centres now at a premium we are designing and building a robust framework to ensure each request is assessed and processed accurately under the multiple capacity processes that exist.
We require a Timezone Capacity Manager to own the end-to-end lifecycle of capacity requests for each Timezone. This is an operational role responsible for managing the full lifecycle of capacity requests across each different capacity process. The Capacity Manager owns intake, validation, data hygiene, tracking and triage preparation, ensuring requests move through the process quickly, accurately and consistently. Success is measured on speed, precision, and clean execution.
Key Responsibilities- Operate each of the capacity request pipeline for your Timezone from intake to triage readiness
- Validate data, correct errors, enrich missing fields, and ensure requests are decision-ready
- Maintain SLA compliance and ensure no request ages beyond expected timelines
- Track status, update dashboards, maintain documentation and audit history
- Communicate outcomes clearly to stakeholders and follow through on actions
- Identify recurring issues and suggest fixes to reduce operational friction
- Leverage insights gained from managing the process to identify and drive continuous improvement
Required Skills & Experience
- Previous experience of owning and managing a process in Microsoft preferred
- Demonstrated strong process orientation with disciplined execution.
- Exceptional attention to detail and precision in data handling.
- Strong Excel capability, including data manipulation, validation, and analysis.
- Clear, concise communication skills with the ability to explain decisions and rationale.
- Comfort working with fast-changing demand, ambiguity, and competing priorities.
- Power Automate, Power Query or PowerBI experience is a plus but not a requirement Success Measures
- SLA adherence.
- Accuracy of approvals and documentation.
- Quality of insights fed into the capacity framework.
