Job Description

We are seeking a dynamic and results-driven Program Manager to join our team and lead cross-functional initiatives across a variety of client and projects. This role is ideal for someone who thrives in fast-paced environments, can manage multiple workstreams, and enjoys collaborating with both technical and non-technical stakeholders. You will play a key role in driving program delivery, aligning teams, and ensuring outcomes meet business objectives.

Specific to client role

Vulnerability Management Business Systems Analyst role within an IT department, specifically their Device Management group.  This group is responsible for device management, endpoint security and QA teams , in addition to co-owning the IT operations for the Institute of Disease Modeling.

 Key Responsibilities

• Manage vulnerabilities across devices within an organization
• Currently their model scans for known/exploited vulnerabilities and pushes those findings into Jira, this role will line up this findings to the team for development and support
• This role would elevate their threat vulnerability model by analyzing data within Jira and providing strategic recommendations based on these insights
• Serve as the primary point of contact for clients and internal stakeholders across all phases of the program lifecycle
• Plan, manage, and deliver programs that span multiple teams and/or functions (e.g., engineering, design, product, operations)
• Develop detailed program plans including timelines, milestones, resource planning, and risk management
• Track progress, manage scope changes, and communicate status to senior stakeholders on a regular cadence
• Identify and resolve issues, remove blockers, and facilitate decision-making to keep programs on track
• Ensure alignment between business needs and technical execution
• Drive program governance including documentation, reporting, and consistent use of tools and frameworks
• Facilitate effective collaboration among cross-functional teams working across Agile, Waterfall, or hybrid environments
• Support change management and adoption efforts in partnership with stakeholders
• Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives and standardize delivery practices where appropriate

Qualifications

• 4–7 years of program or project management experience within the tech industry
• Demonstrated experience managing large-scale or multi-workstream initiatives
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with a proven ability to work directly with clients and executive stakeholders
• Experience working in cross-functional environments with engineering, product, and design teams
• Familiarity with Agile, Scrum, Kanban, and Waterfall methodologies
• Ability to manage ambiguity, adapt to changing priorities, and navigate complex stakeholder landscapes
• Proficiency in program management tools (e.g., Microsoft Project, Smartsheet, JIRA, Confluence, or equivalent)

 Nice to Have

• Background in consulting or client services
• Familiarity with Tanium typically falls within roles that straddle IT operations, cybersecurity, and endpoint management
• Tanium: is a cybersecurity and systems management platform used primarily by large enterprises and government organizations. It provides real-time visibility and control over endpoints (like laptops, desktops, and servers) across an organization’s IT environment
