Job Description

Our client is seeking a detail-oriented and proactive Bookkeeper to join their tight-knit team in Dartmouth, NS. This is a fantastic permanent opportunity to contribute to a growing organization in a supportive environment.

Key Responsibilities for the Job:

  • Process accounts payable
  • Process accounts receivable 
  • Perform bank and credit reconciliations
  • Assist with payroll processing and maintain payroll records
  • Support month-end close activities and financial reporting

Experience & Attributes for Success:

  • Post-secondary education in accounting, business, or a related field; equivalent practical experience or training will also be considered
  • 2 - 5 years of hands-on Bookkeeping experience
  • Proficiency in accounting software and Microsoft Office (especially Excel).
  • Strong organizational and time-management skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines
  • High level of discretion, integrity, and confidentiality
  • Clear and professional communication skills
  • Independent, proactive, and solution-oriented
