Job Description

We are seeking an Accounts Payable Clerk to join our client's accounting team in Queen's County, PEI. This is a full-time, in-office contract role lasting three to six months. It’s ideal for someone with experience in accounts payable and data entry who thrives in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment.

Key Responsibilities for the Job:

  • Perform accounts payable data entry
  • Assist with other assigned tasks within the accounting team
  • Run reports and maintain accurate records using MS Excel and other office software
  • Collaborate with technicians and team members in a dynamic office environment

Experience & Attributes for Success:

  • Post-secondary education in business, accounting, or administration with bookkeeping
  • Strong knowledge of MS Office Suite, particularly Excel
  • Prior experience working within accounts payable and/or payroll duties is a strong asset
  • Excellent attention to detail and adaptability
  • Strong organizational and time management skills
  • Positive, cooperative attitude and a willingness to contribute to a supportive team culture

Compensation:

  • $18.00 - $22.00 per hour based on experience
