The Executive Assistant to the CEO is responsible for providing comprehensive support to the CEO, Board of Directors, and Executive Team and managing the organization’s office operations. This is a one-year contract position.
Act as liaison and provide support to the Board of Directors.
Arrange all meetings, draft agendas, prepare materials and record minutes
Assist when required with special project work, meetings, travel arrangements
Work with the CEO as the primary point of contact providing them with a broad variety of administrative duties
Work with the Executive Team to coordinate the CEO’s outreach activities
Manage information systems operations including hardware, software, desktop support and internal telecommunications
Provide event management support as requested
Other projects/duties as assigned
Requirements
Strong ability to execute work with a diversity, equity and inclusion lens
Significant executive support experience, including supporting CEO level executives
Non-Profit board experience is highly preferred
Technical proficiency related to IT infrastructure, IT support and troubleshooting
High degree of professionalism in dealing with diverse groups of people, including Board members, senior executives, staff, community leaders, donors and funded partners
Ability to work independently
Expert proficiency with Microsoft Office and desktop publishing software; ability to design and edit graphic presentations and materials
Must be fluent in English, written, reading and speaking
Work is on-site in an office setting
May be required to work irregular hours (evenings, weekends)
Some travel required
