Job Description

We are currently seeking a Sales Administrative Assistant to support our clients' driven and busy sales' team. 

This is a permanent opportunity based in St. John's, NL and will have an administrative-focus while also including elements of sales support. The ideal candidate is a detail-oriented, customer-focused individual, capable of managing multiple tasks in a fast-paced and dynamic environment.

Key Responsibilities for the Job:

  • Process customer orders accurately and efficiently
  • Provide professional customer service via phone, email, and in person
  • Support inventory management, including tracking and reordering supplies
  • Maintain and update customer and inventory records
  • Support the sales team with follow-ups, quotes, and customer inquiries
  • Make occasional cold calls to support sales efforts
  • Perform general administrative duties as required

Experience & Attributes for Success:

  • Post-secondary education in Business Administration, Office Administration, or a related field is preferred. An equivalent combination of education and relevant work experience will also be considered
  • 1 - 3 years of experience in a similar support role, with a focus in sales and/or customer service 
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and comfort working with digital tools and platforms
  • Strong organizational and multitasking skills with keen attention to detail
  • Clear and professional interpersonal and communication skills
  • A proactive mindset with the ability to take initiative and solve problems independently
  • Friendly, professional, and adaptable to a variety of tasks and team needs
