Job Description

Our client, a reputable and well-established organization based in St. John’s, NL, is seeking a detail-oriented and organized Administrative Clerk to support day-to-day operations on a contract basis. This is an excellent opportunity for someone who thrives in a fast-paced environment and enjoys supporting teams with a variety of administrative tasks.

Key Responsibilities for the Job:

  • Answer and direct phone calls, respond to emails, and greet visitors as needed
  • Support scheduling meetings and coordinating calendars
  • Provide general administrative support including data entry, filing, and scanning documents
  • Assist with preparing correspondence, reports, and other documents
  • Maintain accurate records and ensure documents are properly organized and archived
  • Assist in ordering office supplies and managing inventory
  • Perform other clerical and administrative duties as required

Experience & Attributes for Success:

  • Post-secondary education in office or business administration is ideal
  • 1 - 3 years' experience in a similar administrative or clerical support role
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook)
  • Strong attention to detail and a high level of accuracy
  • Excellent organizational and time management skills
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Friendly, professional demeanor with a commitment to customer service
