Job Description

Are you a proactive and organized individual with a knack for project management and a passion for the technology sector? If so, join our clients’ team as a Project Coordinator and play a pivotal role in the seamless execution of projects. This is a contract opportunity based in Halifax, NS where your skills will contribute to the efficient coordination of resources, tasks, and communication throughout project life cycles.

Key Responsibilities for the Job: 

  • Assist the project manager in creating and managing project documents 
  • Meeting minutes, testing documentation, approvals, deliverables, testing logs, and instructional materials
  • Collaborate in defining project requirements, stakeholder acceptance criteria, and project timelines
  • Coordinate resource allocation to ensure timely availability for the project team
  • Track team tasks, clarify project milestones, and ensure deliverables are met
  • Act as a bridge between the project manager and the project team, maintaining effective communication
  • Schedule meetings and facilitate communication between project manager and stakeholders
  • Assist in resource scheduling to ensure team members have necessary resources for task completion
  • Other duties and project support tasks as assigned

Experience & Attributes for Success:

  • 1-3 years’ administrative experience working in a project-based environment
  • Ability to pick up new technologies quickly
  • Excellent time management and prioritization skills
  • Strong accuracy and attention to detail
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills
