Job Description

A growing international life sciences company is seeking a Director of Finance – North America to lead financial operations for its U.S. business. This is a hands-on, high-impact role focused on strategic financial planning, forecasting, KPI analysis, and team leadership.

The Director will serve as a business partner to senior leadership and report directly to the global CFO. This is a rare opportunity to influence strategy, build out FP&A capabilities, and help drive performance within a dynamic and people-focused culture.

Key Responsibilities:
• Lead budgeting, forecasting, and financial modeling for the U.S. business
• Analyze business performance, identify trends, and provide actionable insights to senior leadership
• Present financial data, strategies, and business cases to global executive stakeholders
• Oversee and develop a small U.S.-based accounting team (Accounting Manager + 2 staff)

Qualifications:
• Bachelor's degree in Finance or Accounting
• 7+ years of progressive experience in FP&A or business finance, and some accounting experience
• Strong leadership, analytical, and communication skills
• Exposure to accounting functions and team oversight
• Power BI or similar data visualization tool experience a plus
