Punch Press Operator

About the Role
We are looking for a Punch Press Operator to join our manufacturing team. In this role, you will set up and operate punch press machines, inspect finished parts, and help maintain safe and efficient production.

Key Responsibilities

• Set up punch press machines, tooling, and dies according to job requirements.
• Operate equipment to produce parts that meet quality and production standards.
• Make machine adjustments and perform basic calibrations as needed.
• Inspect parts using measuring tools such as calipers, micrometers, and gauges.
• Complete quality checks and maintain production records.
• Load and unload materials safely.
• Perform basic troubleshooting and routine machine maintenance.
• Maintain a clean, safe, and organized work area.

Requirements

• Experience operating punch press or similar metal fabrication equipment.
• Ability to read and interpret blueprints and production drawings.
• Experience using precision measuring tools.
• Mechanical aptitude and machine setup experience.
• Understanding of quality control and inspection processes.
• Ability to complete production documentation accurately.
• Basic math skills for measurements and tolerances.
• Strong commitment to safety and attention to detail.

Preferred

• Experience in sheet metal or metal fabrication manufacturing.
• Familiarity with preventive machine maintenance.
• Forklift or material handling experience.
