NOW HIRING: CNC Horizontal Mill Operator (Night Shift)
Looking for a reliable night shift machining role with a 3-day weekend? We are hiring an experienced CNC Horizontal Mill Operator to run horizontal machining centers, monitor tolerances, and keep night-shift production running smoothly.
Schedule & Pay

Hours: Monday – Thursday | 5:00 PM start (4x10-hour shifts)

Breaks: Two 10-minute breaks + 30-minute lunch | Overtime available

Key Responsibilities

Operate CNC horizontal machining centers independently.

Read blueprints and inspect completed parts using calipers, micrometers, and bore gauges.

Perform tool wear/work offsets and swap out inserts and basic tooling.

Monitor machine performance, part quality, and tool wear, adjusting before dimensions drift.

Keep accurate production records and inspection logs.
Requirements

Hands-on experience operating CNC horizontal mills.

Proven ability to make offsets and inspect your own parts without direct supervision.

Strong grasp of standard measuring tools, cutting tools, and basic machining troubleshooting.

Dependable, self-motivated, and comfortable working with limited night-shift support.

Pluses: Experience with setups, probing, or minor program editing.
