Key Requirements:
* Proven experience operating CNC mills and lathes, with specific exposure to Mitsubishi and Okuma controls (primarily Okuma)

* Proficient in using precision measuring instruments (calipers, micrometers, gauges) to maintain .001 tolerances
* Strong mechanical aptitude with the ability to troubleshoot basic machining issues
* Solid basic math skills for measurements, offsets, and simple calculations

* Ownership of a basic collection of personal hand tools suitable for CNC machining work
* Reliable, punctual, and team-oriented, with a willingness to support all aspects of shop operations
* Physically able to lift and move up to 50 bs regularly and stand for extended periods

Desirable Skills:
* Experience making CNC program edits beyond basic adjustments
* Forklift operating experience in a manufacturing or warehouse environment
* Familiarity with additional CNC controls or manual machining equipment

Qualifications:
* High school diploma or GED
* Formal training in CNC machining, machine tool technology, or a related field preferred
* Apprenticeship, vocational program, or equivalent on-the-job training in CNC machining is an advantage
