Days: Monday -Friday
Hours: 7:30-4:30 

Job Description: We are currently seeking a skilled and dependable Heavy Equipment Mechanic to join our team. We operate in a fast-paced, highway construction-style environment where heavy equipment is used daily and repairs are typically performed in the field or on-site as needed. The Heavy Equipment Mechanic will be responsible for diagnosing, repairing, and maintaining a variety of heavy equipment used in daily operations. This role requires strong mechanical ability, troubleshooting skills, and the ability to work independently in field conditions as well as on-site repair situations.

Key Responsibilities:
- Diagnose and repair hydraulic, mechanical, and electrical issues on heavy equipment
- Perform routine maintenance and inspections to ensure equipment reliability
- Repair equipment in-field or at operating locations as needed
- Troubleshoot breakdowns efficiently to minimize downtime
- Maintain accurate records of repairs and maintenance performed
- Follow all safety procedures and company guidelines

Requirements:
- Prior experience as a heavy equipment mechanic required
- Strong knowledge of diesel engines, hydraulics, and electrical systems
- Ability to work independently and in field conditions
- Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills
- Reliable attendance and strong work ethic
