Structural Welder

About the Role
We are seeking a Structural Welder to join our team. In this role, you will perform high-quality MIG pulse welding on structural components, ensuring work meets customer specifications, quality standards, and production requirements.

Key Responsibilities

• Perform MIG pulse welding on a variety of structural materials.
• Read and interpret blueprints and technical drawings.
• Set up and adjust welding equipment and settings.
• Weld components including sheet metal, I-beams, square tubing, and channels.
• Safely operate manlifts and cranes for material handling and positioning.
• Inspect completed welds to ensure quality and accuracy.
• Follow all safety procedures and maintain a clean work area.
• Work independently and as part of a team to meet production goals.

Requirements

• Minimum 1 year of welding experience.
• Experience with MIG welding and welding machine setup.
• Ability to read and interpret blueprints and weld specifications.
• Comfortable working at heights and welding from a ladder when required.
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality.
• Reliable, punctual, and safety-focused.
• Positive attitude and strong work ethic.

Preferred

• Experience welding air-cooled heat exchangers.
• Experience operating cranes and manlifts.
• Additional welding certifications or fabrication experience.
