Job Description

Responsibilities
Diagnose, repair, and maintain commercial supermarket refrigeration systems.
Service parallel rack systems, compressors, condensers, evaporators, and refrigerant piping.
Troubleshoot refrigeration, electrical, and control system issues.
Service walk-in coolers, walk-in freezers, display cases, reach-in coolers, and ice machines.
Perform preventive maintenance to maximize equipment reliability and efficiency.
Troubleshoot electronic controls, EPR valves, expansion valves, defrost systems, and case controllers.
Work with EMS/BMS and refrigeration control systems.
Leak check, recover, evacuate, and properly charge refrigeration systems.
Read wiring diagrams, pressure-temperature charts, and mechanical blueprints.
Complete service reports and communicate findings with customers and management.
Participate in an on-call rotation for emergency service.
Follow all EPA, OSHA, and company safety procedures.
Qualifications
3+ years of commercial refrigeration experience required.
Experience servicing supermarket refrigeration rack systems.
EPA Universal Certification required.
Valid driver's license with a clean driving record.
Strong electrical and refrigeration troubleshooting skills.
Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
Excellent communication and customer service skills.
Ability to lift 50+ pounds and work in various environmental conditions.
Preferred Experience
Experience with Hillphoenix, Hussmann, Zero Zone, Kysor Warren, or Tyler equipment.
Knowledge of CO₂, glycol, cascade, and traditional DX refrigeration systems.
Experience servicing Copeland, Bitzer, Carlyle, and Danfoss compressor systems.
Familiarity with Emerson E2, Danfoss, Carel, CPC, and other refrigeration control platforms.
Experience working in occupied grocery stores while minimizing disruption.
