Job Description

The Parts Specialist plays a key role in supporting technicians, customers, and the service team by sourcing, ordering, and maintaining inventory of generator parts and related components. You’ll be the go-to person for identifying the right parts, ensuring timely availability, and keeping operations running smoothly.

Key Responsibilities

  • Source and order generator parts, components, and supplies from vendors

  • Maintain accurate inventory records and perform regular stock counts

  • Assist service technicians in identifying correct parts for repairs and maintenance

  • Provide customer support for parts inquiries and pricing

  • Monitor purchase orders, delivery schedules, and backorders

  • Keep parts area organized and compliant with company standards

Qualifications

  • Previous experience in a parts or inventory role (generator, diesel, HVAC, or related industry preferred)

  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail

  • Ability to read and interpret parts manuals, schematics, and technical diagrams

  • Computer proficiency with inventory management systems

  • Excellent communication skills and a customer-focused mindset
