Job Description
Absolute Jobs is currently seeking a well rounded Diesel Technician. The ideal candidates should have experience working with service and maintenance of all machinery, equipment and vehicles. Requirements of the Diesel Technician:Minimum (4) years prior experience with complex diagnostics as well as overall commercial vehicle repair
Have own hand tools
Experience with emissions
Experience with diagnostics
Experience with Diagnostic Software
Experience with Reefers
Extensive knowledge of correct truck diagnosing procedures
Advanced understanding of schematics and diagrams
Pass a Background check / drug test / clean drivers license

Responsibilities of the Diesel Technician:
As a Diesel Technician, you will spearhead the Service Department's efforts to accurately and efficiently perform diagnostic repair of customers' commercial vehicles Provide accurate diagnosis and essential repair of commercial vehicles, fleet, diesel trucks, tractor-trailer, etc.
Communicate effectively with the parts department and service office
Operate under supervision of the Service Manager Company provides training for development of diagnostic skill set
