Duties & Responsibilities
- Responsible for using Creo and Fluid Lines for the routing harnesses for off-highway trucks, scrapers, and large wheel loaders.
- Supporting the detailing and checking of prints. Supporting other engineering responsibilities such as cost rollups, FMEA, TFCs, etc.
- Requires good communication skills for working with peers and product group to develop and review designs.
- Design wire harness routings, support detailing, and checking of prints.
- Present design reviews
- Collaborate with suppliers
- Support, cost rollups, FMEA, TFCs, Supplier collaboration, etc
Required Skills:
- Extensive Creo, Teamcenter, and Fluid lines experience
- Electrical Harness Design Experience (hydraulic integration design could also be considered)
- FMEAs
- Experience in reading electrical drawings and schematics
Education/Experience:
- Bachelor’s degree in Electrical or Mechanical Engineering with 8+ years of experience.
- Master’s Degree and/or PHD with 5+ years experience
