Duties & Responsibilities
- Perform hands-on testing and validation of electrical and electronic equipment in an engineering lab environment
- Operate and troubleshoot common lab instruments including Digital Multimeters (DMMs), oscilloscopes, and related electrical test equipment
- Support engineering teams with test setup, execution, and data collection
- Assist in testing activities involving electrical components and systems
- Maintain lab equipment, ensure proper calibration, and follow safety and lab procedures
- Document test results and support basic reporting activities
- Provide hands-on support for engineering investigations and product validation efforts
- Willingness to learn and support testing involving thermal chambers, vibration testing, and data acquisition systems (training will be provided)
Education & Experience
- Bachelor’s degree is not required
- Associate’s degree in Engineering Technology, Electronics, or a related field is acceptable
- Candidates with practical hands-on experience are strongly encouraged to apply, including:
- Field technicians
- Military technical backgrounds
- Industrial or laboratory technicians
- Experience requirements:
- Minimum 5 years of relevant hands-on experience without a degree
- 1–3 years of relevant experience with an Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree
Required Skills
- Strong hands-on experience with electrical lab equipment (DMMs, oscilloscopes, etc.)
- Ability to work effectively in a lab and test environment
- Mechanical and electrical troubleshooting skills
- Comfortable following test procedures and safety standards
- Basic documentation and data recording skills
- Strong attention to detail and reliability
- Self-motivated, hands-on, and team-oriented mindset
