We are seeking a Manufacturing Quality Engineer to support production quality and process improvement initiatives within a high-volume manufacturing environment. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience monitoring machine performance, conducting root cause analysis, validating gaging systems, and utilizing vision inspection and statistical process control tools to ensure consistent product quality.


Key Duties & Responsibilities:

  • Monitor machine performance to ensure production equipment operates within specified parameters and meets quality standards.

  • Participate in Material Review Board (MRB) meetings to assess non-conforming parts, identify process-related issues, and implement root cause and corrective actions (RCCA).

     and Cognex vision systems to perform in-process part verification and maintain accuracy of inspection setups.

  • Conduct process control part verification and torque audits to ensure product and process compliance with design specifications.

  • Create and maintain SPC (Statistical Process Control) charts to analyze process capability, stability, and performance trends.

  • Perform 31-piece capability studies and gage validation (MSA studies) whenever changes occur in the gaging system or inspection setup.

  • Collaborate with manufacturing, design, and quality teams to drive continuous improvement in process capability and product conformance.

  • Document and maintain quality records, audit findings, and corrective action reports in compliance with internal and industry standards.


Required Skills & Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering, Industrial Engineering, Manufacturing Engineering, or related field.

  • 2–4 years of experience in manufacturing quality engineering within automotive, aerospace, or industrial equipment industries.

  • Proficiency in Keyence and Cognex vision systems for in-process inspection and quality verification.

  • Strong understanding of SPC (Statistical Process Control), MSA (Measurement System Analysis), and capability studies.

  • Experience conducting torque audits, gage R&R, and process validations.

  • Hands-on experience with root cause analysis, 8D, Ishikawa/Fishbone, or 5 Whys problem-solving methodologies.

  • Familiarity with non-conformance handling, MRB procedures, and corrective/preventive action (CAPA) processes.

  • Excellent analytical, communication, and documentation skills.

  • Strong teamwork and continuous improvement mindset.


Preferred Skills:

  • Exposure to Lean Manufacturing and Six Sigma methodologies.

  • Experience with PFMEA, Control Plans, and Quality Management Systems (QMS).Working knowledge of ISO 9001 / IATF 16949 standards.
