Boasting a diverse team of over 1,500 engineering experts hailing from various nations and cultures across the globe, we are excellently poised to provide intricate and personalized resolutions to our esteemed clients.The Controls engineer position within the Electric Powertrain Control Systems team will be responsible for powertrain controls design, development, simulation, and validation for Electric Powertrain products. The position will develop common, leveraged control features to support various electrified powertrain system architectures. The position will collaborate with a global team to solve technical problems and deliver on project goals. Duties & Responsibilities:
- Developing powertrain controls requirements based on machine level performance / functional requirements.
- Developing leverageable control features for various electromechanical system architectures through model-based controls development.
- Utilize virtual product development for control system functional testing, powertrain optimization, and performance verification.
- Developing and validating powertrain control features through simulation, lab, and machine development utilizing CAN and ethernet based development tools.
- Analyzing data, investigating issues for root cause, and documenting powertrain control feature functionality and performance
- Collaborating with process partners to deliver high quality product.
Education & Experience
- Years of experience: 5 or more years related experience required
- Degree requirement: Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical, Electrical, Mechatronics, or Equivalent Engineering

Required Skill:
- Experience in model-based controls development using Matlab Simulink and Stateflow.
- Experience with virtual product development
- Experience with lab, machine, or vehicle development
- Experience developing electromechanical, transmission, hybrid, or powertrain controls
- Experience in model-based controls development using Matlab Simulink and Stateflow.
