The First Responder for LWL (Line With Loader) and LMT (Line Machining Tool) machines is responsible for providing immediate technical assistance on the production floor, ensuring minimal downtime and supporting technicians in resolving process interruptions, machine issues, and quality deviations. This role serves as the first line of response for issues raised through ICA (In-Process Corrective Actions), PCA (Process Concern Alerts), BIQ (Built-in Quality) checks, and CI (Continuous Improvement) cards.

Duties & Responsibilities:

• Act as the first point of contact for any breakdowns, alarms, or quality alerts related to LWL and LMT machines.
• Provide real-time support to machine technicians and operators to resolve process interruptions and avoid downtime.
• Ensure quick root-cause identification and implement first-level fixes or escalations as needed.
• Maintain detailed logs of interventions and follow-up actions.
• Address and close out ICA and PCA issues on the shop floor in collaboration with the quality team.
• Monitor and support BIQ activities, including station audits and operator checks.
• Validate containment actions and escalate repeat issues through structured problem-solving methods (e.g., 5-Why, Ishikawa).
• Ensure adherence to process documentation and quality standards.

Education & Experience  

• A BS degree in an (Manufaturing Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, etc.)
• 0-2 years of experience required

Required Skills:

• Mechanical/Manufacturing aptitude
