Duties & Responsibilities:

  • Responsible for developing and improving new polymer-based materials and processes which includes designing and optimizing polymer processing methods, troubleshooting production issues, and working with cross-functional teams to ensure product quality.
  • Works with polymer materials in various applications, often focusing on specific types of polymers (e.g., thermoplastics, nylon, epoxy and rubber). 

Education & Experience:

  • Bachelor's with 4+ years or Master's degree 2+ years in Engineering or related field (e.g., Chemistry, Materials Science)

 Required Skills:

  • Experience in polymer products with Injection molding, extrusion, 3D printing.
  • Good understanding 0f polymer synthesis, structure, and properties, including spectroscopy and rheology. 
  • Familiarity with tensile strength, melt flow index, and other material properties. 
  • Proficiency in AutoCAD, SolidWorks, or similar software for design and modeling. 
  • Competency in Excel, Python, or other tools for data analysis and process simulation.
