Duties & Responsibilities:
- Having thorough understanding of the features, functionality, and applications of the products and engineering services to answer customer questions and address technical concerns.
- Meeting with potential clients, discussing their needs, and presenting product demonstrations to showcase how the solution can solve their problems.
- Analyzing customer requirements and tailoring product proposals to fit their specific needs, often involving creating customized configurations or system designs.
- Delivering detailed presentations to clients, explaining technical aspects of the product and services in a clear and understandable manner.
- Collaborating closely with the sales team to provide technical insights, address customer queries, and support the overall sales process.
- Staying updated on industry trends, competitor products, and emerging technologies to identify potential opportunities and market gaps.
- Identifying potential clients, qualifying leads, and initiating contact to initiate the sales cycle.
- Developing pricing strategies and negotiating terms with customers to secure deals.
- Assisting customers with product implementation, troubleshooting, and ongoing technical support with the help of delivery teams in a organized governance calls
- Networking with potential customers and promoting company products and services at industry conferences and exhibitions.
Education & Experience
- Minimum 3+ years of Sales experience in the engineering services industry
- 4-year bachelor’s degree in Mechanical/Industrial Engineering or equivalent
Required Skill:
- Strong technical background in manufacturing engineering disciplines
- Excellent communication and presentation skills to effectively explain complex technical concepts
- Problem-solving abilities to diagnose customer issues and provide appropriate solutions
- Sales acumen, including negotiation and closing techniques
- Ability to adapt to different customer needs and tailor presentations accordingly
