Duties & Responsibilities:  

  • Understand Vehicle/Powertrain system’s functional requirements. 
  • Develop Test plans for Vehicle/Powertrain features. 
  • Validation of software on dSPACE HIL bench 
  • Develop test reports for the tests executed. 
  • Datalink files analysis for issues resolution. 
  • Work with customers on product support tasks. 
  • Conduct review meetings with software developer/architect to go over the test results. 

Required Skills:  

  • Experience with HIL system testing and hardware setup 
  • Experience with testing service tools and remote configuration of products 
  • Hardware-in-the-loop (HIL)-dSPACE validation background, setup, troubleshooting with a harness. 
  • Experienced with Simulink, Python, Automation desk, Vector Canape, Canoe, Canalyzer. 
  • Proficiency in using lab test equipment (scopes, meters, power supplies, etc.), and relative experience with data analysis. 
  • Able to understand requirements and Develop test plans. 
  • Should have working Experience in sensors, Actuators, and ECUs. 
  • Exposer to test automation 
  • Must have good communication skills both written and oral. 
  • Must have good presentation skills. 
  • Able to define and achieve organizational goals with required supervision. 
  • Understand the escalation process and follow as required. 

Preferred Skills:  

  • Experience with developing test automation with Python 
  • Basic knowledge of Electronic Control Unit (ECU’s) and software update processes. 
  • Basic knowledge of Datalink architecture, including SAE J1939 

 Education/Experience:  

  • 2-5 years of overall experience in the relevant technology 
  • Bachelor's Degree in Electrical or Computer Science related fields
